This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights — in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

  • Provided by you: name, phone number, email, shipping/billing address, and GSTIN (if you request a business invoice) — when you order, create an account, use our Exchange & Returns Portal, or contact us. 
  • Support conversations: messages you share with our website AI assistant and support team, used to answer your queries and improve our service.
  • Payment information: processed entirely by secure, PCI-DSS-compliant third party payment gateways. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or banking passwords.
  • Automatically: device/browser type, IP address, and browsing behaviour, via cookies and standard Shopify analytics.

Why we collect it (purposes)

  • Processing and delivering your orders, and sending order updates via email, SMS, and WhatsApp;
  • Confirming COD orders before dispatch;
  • Processing exchanges and claims through our Exchange & Returns Portal (including photos and unboxing videos you upload);
  • Answering your questions through our AI assistant and support channels;
  • Issuing GST invoices and meeting tax/accounting obligations;
  • Improving our website, products, and services;
  • With your consent, sending offers and updates — opt out anytime by replying STOP on WhatsApp or using the unsubscribe link in any email. Opting out never affects your orders.

Who we share it with

Only those needed to serve you: courier partners (delivery and pickup), payment gateways (payment processing), our e-commerce platform (Shopify), and the technology providers that power our returns portal and AI chat assistant — each bound to use your data only to provide their service to us. We never sell or rent your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or a lawful government request.

Cookies

Cookies keep your cart working, remember preferences, and measure site performance. You can disable
them in your browser, but checkout may not function properly.

Security & retention

We use SSL encryption and Shopify's secure infrastructure. Order records are retained as required by accounting and tax law; data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

You have the right to:

  • Access a summary of your personal data and how it's processed;
  • Correction and erasure of your data (subject to legal record-keeping requirements);
  • Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing (like marketing);
  • Grievance redressal through our Grievance Officer below;
  • Nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
